Our Story

Vanessa and Brylee first crossed paths while working together at a school, quickly discovering they shared a deep passion: empowering children to find fulfillment and engagement in their learning. Both felt strongly about inspiring students in ways that sparked curiosity and joy. However, they encountered countless roadblocks—red tape, rigid policies, and systemic barriers that made it nearly impossible to teach in the creative, student-centered ways they envisioned. Realising they couldn’t bring their vision to life in that environment, Vanessa and Brylee left their roles and each explored new teaching avenues.

In early 2023, Vanessa founded Alkira Adina Equestrian, an organisation rooted in experiential learning, allowing students to learn by doing and connecting with the world around them. With a unique approach that blends hands-on learning and personal growth, Alkira Adina Equestrian quickly became a vibrant space, supporting and inspiring a growing number of young learners every week.

Recognising the impact of experiential learning, Vanessa and Brylee came together to create WildQuest Education—a platform designed to be accessible to all families and carers, even those without horses or other pets. With activities crafted to be fun, engaging, and adaptable, WildQuest Education is especially sensitive to the needs of learners with autism, ADHD, and other learning challenges. Today, WildQuest Education provides an inclusive, empathetic, and adventure-filled approach to learning, offering families a pathway to engage their children in a way that’s fulfilling and empowering.
